Thursday is Jupiter Day
I love Thursdays. They are ruled by the planet, Jupiter. Jupiter is all things expansion, abundance, and positivity. These days carry the energy of growth, whether personal or professional. And when you speak about the soul, the personal and the professional are one and the same.
Thursdays are lovely days for planning for the future, pursuing your soul’s work, sharing good fortune, giving of yourself and your time (as it will be returned to you).
By Thursday, I like to finish out small tasks with gusto and focus on macro themes for my expansion, including visioning new projects and cultivating the energy of opportunity. I do this by vision boarding, daydreaming, having deep conversations with people who are wise and expansive, sketching out the new, and believing in the auspicious.
Today is 6 Tijax
This is one of the best days in the Mayan Sacred Calendar for healing. Tijax carries the energy of the warrior-healer and the obsidian blade that is wielded today will bring about great healing and wholeness.
The sacred number 6 is all about destined stability. Whatever you’re contemplating as part of your reflective self-healing practice, with yourself or in relationship with another, carries the potential for clarity, finality, and certainty.
Tijax can be quite devoted to healing, moving from one story to another, using discernment to slice out any tall tales. But paired with the energy of 6 (which also represents family and the six directions, including the heart of the sky and the heart of the earth), it has a very good chance of removing exactly what you no longer need in this moment and for the cultivation of your soul’s destiny.
Today is the Full Moon in Aries
The combined energy of a Full Moon and the zodiacal sign of Aries can suggest fireworks. But I feel a slightly modified frequency. It feels less wild and more purposeful.
When I feel into Aries, there are some truths that emerge. Yes, it’s fiery and passionate. Yes, it’s direct and competitive. Yes, it’s bold and unwavering. And also, Aries knows itself and what it wants.
When I feel into a Full Moon, I arrive at a spirit of culmination, a potent moment for arriving at a new level of expansion, an understanding of what’s what in the landscape of all that has happened and all that may happen.
This Full Moon in Aries feels like it’s a certainty that you will reach your mission, follow your purpose, take the next best step. Allow this moment to reveal what you honestly need to see or feel or sense so that you may finally move on and move up.
Tomorrow is 7 Kawok (10/18/2024)
The sacred number 7 represents the peak of the pyramid, the top of the mountain, the platform high in the clouds from which you can take in the vast landscapes in all directions, and all its corresponding possibilities.
The energy of Kawok is that of the midwife, the force that brings new life into the world, the torrential rain that washes away whatever Tijax cut from your spirit. It is perfectly placed on today, the day after a passionate full moon.
In the Mayan Sacred Calendar, Tijax and Kawok are programming partners—Tijax as the potter sho sculpts and slices excess clay (earth) away and Kawok washes it away, revealing only the most essential.
The joint endeavor is to allow the real beauty of your soul to remain. It is this process that helps you embody your destiny—the tiny one in this moment and full fate of your lifetime.
The ancestors say of this particular moment, “If not now, then when?”
