Today is 6 B’atz
Today is 6 B’atz in the Mayan Sacred Calendar. It is an auspicious day and many ceremonies are hosted on B’atz days.
This particular energy is about weaving your creation to life in the physical world, calling on the support of all of the directions—east, south, west, north, the heart of the sky and the heart of the earth, and the mid point that connect them in your heart.
B’atz is known as the entertainer, but not the court jester. There is great wisdom in this day and in those who carry this energy. This energy is literally weaving time into existence. As such, it’s important to use this day to power the creative projects that serve the highest good, of your soul and humanity.
You may make a masterpiece today or pave the way for the transformation to bring the new you to the world. I mention ‘transformation’ because we’re moving through the trecena of Kame which is the energy of death and transformation, the moments that serve a new beginning.
I very much resonate with Kame as it is my elder energy, the energy that I stand wholly in right now, ready to aid not only my own transformation, but to hold space for the transformation of all sweet souls who choose to walk alongside me.
Tomorrow is 7 E’
Thursday is a favorite day in the Mayan Sacred Calendar because I really resonate with its energy. The sacred number 7 represents the top of the pyramid, the vantage point from which we can take in all possible directions, the spot from which we take it all in before dipping into the spirit world as sacred numbers 8 to 13 represent our descent into the spirit world.
E’ is the energy of the explorer, the journey of discovery, the adventurous path from which we gather experience to understand our own hearts, minds, and souls.
On a day like today, we are experiencing the energy of closing one chapter of a book to begin another. We are taking in all of our lessons and moving on, making a decision, taking the next best step.
In the trecena of Kame, I like to think of this day as one which divides or makes the old from the new, allowing a moment of metaphorical transformation from who we were to who we are.
Mercury is in Scorpio Opposing Uranus
As you may keenly feel, there is so much flowing in the resonance of the moment. And as Wednesday is already represented by the planet of Mercury, the planet of communication, we are already deep in communication. But this one hits different.
You see, Mercury is in Scorpio opposing Uranus. This feels like there is meaning in every single word that comes from your mouth, that comes from another. Words, naturally, already carry meaning. But pay attention to the meaning between the words, between the letters.
This is a highly intuitive energy where some surprising information may come to light, perhaps through communication with another, perhaps through communication with your most intuitive self, perhaps in communication with the spirit world. After all, the veil is very thin and will only get thinner as we move toward the weekend.
This time is inviting you to not just embody your soul but to remember that no matter what messages are in the air, we are all ancestors, we are all immortal, we are receiving the messages we need to embody a legacy.
This is a super potent time, and felt like the most beautiful time to launch Embody Your Soul, because it’s time to remember our power and surface our soul’s codes for abundance in this particular lifetime.
The New Moon in Scorpio is on Friday 11/1
Scorpio is my unconscious sun. As such, I identify with its desires to go down to the depths to see what’s there and surface our most intuitive nature.
As this week progresses, you’ll be feeling into how to allow your most intuitive nature to guide the way you really want to live. Because there is no other time than now. The power structures of the world and your life are shifting. Literally, they can’t help but shift and they are shifting for you.
The messages you receive right now are dropping in for your highest good and for the highest good of humanity. It is time to enact a life lead by your soul’s deepest desires.
Day of the Dead is on Friday 11/1 and Saturday 11/2
During Dia de los Muertos, we heal in community. We remember and celebrate those who have passed, those in other dimensions. We welcome their co-mingling with us in this dimension. As we celebrate their existence, we learn to accept death as a natural part of life and we heal.
If you feel a sensation in your left arm, perhaps it’s a passed female relative wishing to alert you of her presence.
If you feel a rush of energy around a particular topic, perhaps it’s your ancestors calling you into a new form of study or new path for your career.
If you feel an immense sadness around someone’s all-too-soon departure from this plane of existence, please take it as a signal that they are standing with you, celebrating life with you, loving you from an invisible place that feels far away but is, in fact, just beside you.
If you maintain an altar to honor your departed, pull out all the photos and place them around the altar. As well, consider making a special offering today. Just lay a bit of fresh bread (earth) on the altar, or perhaps lay extra sticks of incense (air), or perhaps light a thick white candle (fire), or even just place a single glass of water (water) to nourish their everlasting presence.
