Today is Friday or Venus Day
Today is not a typical Venus day. I invite you to welcome in softness, ease, beauty, self-love, artful moments, a slow and steady pace. And also, you may feel some intense feelings. Let's discuss.
Venus Moves into Scorpio
On the weekend, Venus moves into Scorpio, which brings a deeper and more intense energy to our relationships and our soul's desires. You may feel reflective, like you wish to be alone and contemplative. Alternatively, you may wish to connect with those who are close to you, perhaps to explore the questions surfacing within your soul field. You may wish to get to the truth of a matter on your heart.
This energy very much feels like the energy of Aq'ab'al in the Mayan Sacred Calendar. It's as if some part of you wishes to shed light on a darkness shading your relationships and your desires. Follow it. Please do not miss the opportunity to see the light.
The Fall Equinox is on Sunday
The theme of this Equinox feels like composting, the literal turning of the leaves. This is how I see it and feel it in my body.
You are feeling into all the parts of you and turning the old bits that you no longer need back into the soil of you. You are allowing those old bits to nurture and nourish you.
This may feel like reviewing old stories, perhaps with a friend, allowing the lessons to emerge so you may put those stories or patterns or habits to bed, finally. Does this make sense?
This cycle is a portal to presence. Ask yourself, “What do all the parts of me need? What does my body, mind, heart, and soul need? And, what do I no longer need?”
Libra Season Begins on Sunday
Libra is about balance and harmony. And given that we're moving through Eclipse season, I think some of us may need to take a wide swing or a big leap in order to bring equilibrium within and without.
Libra is the peacemaker. Libra wants everyone to relax. These moments in our time don't exactly feel peaceful and relaxing. The invitation is, “How can you bring more peace to these moments of swift change?”
I hear the call to also say that Libra is about beauty. What do you find beautiful? Think deeply about that and find ways to cultivate that beauty to allow your soul's fullest expression to emerge.
Today is 5 B'atz
I am writing to you on 5 B'atz. In the Mayan Sacred Calendar, B'atz is the energy of full creative potential. The sacred number 5 represents work or expending some energy to manifest something into the physical.
It's a beautiful day for getting down to the essentials of a project and putting some time into it. Maybe you will create a masterpiece. Maybe you will experience a creative block. Either way, all is allowed as it helps you emerge and if there's a goal, that's the goal.
Tomorrow is 6 E'
In the Mayan Sacred Calendar, E' is the energy of the journey, the path of self-discovery, the walk toward what is next. This is some of my favorite energy and it's all through my own Mayan Cross.
The sacred number 6 represents wholeness, completeness, stability. It represents the four directions plus the heart of the sky and the heart of the earth.
Today is a day to stabilize a stretch of travel or, more specifically, the journey of your life's path. I am feeling into my upcoming travel and how I am moving toward not just a new life, not just the next version of me, but toward my fullest expression, who I am destined to be.
