Seeking Virtual Assistant

I'm looking for a Virtual Assistant to help replicate and manage content across multiple platforms (blog, Substack, social media).

Core responsibilities:

  • Format and cross-post content to Substack (both public posts and membership content) and other platforms

  • Transcribe audio content using AI tools (Otter, etc.) and clean up for accuracy

  • Upload and optimize images

  • Add standard intro/outro text (provided by me)

  • Schedule or draft posts weekly

  • There's a backlog of 40+ posts to migrate to Substack either as an initial sprint or spread across weekly hours, flexible based on availability

Skills required:

  • Experience with Substack features, Zoom recordings, and comfort learning new platforms, as needed

  • Ability to organize and upload various content types (text, audio, video, downloadable resources) and ensure proper formatting for each

  • Creating registration posts with Zoom links and managing replays/recordings

  • Comfortable with content calendars, tracking what's published vs. upcoming, and maintaining organized file systems

  • Able to flag issues, ask clarifying questions, and suggest improvements to workflows

  • (Future) Willingness to learn basic moderation and engagement tasks as needed (monitoring comments, flagging questions for your review)

Bonus skills: (not required, but valued)

  • Photo or video editing

  • Social media management

  • Genuine interest in personal essays, spirituality, personal growth, philosophy & storytelling

  • Familiarity with Canva for simple image editing, as needed

Details:

  • Remote position

  • Estimated 2-4 hours/week initially, with potential to increase

  • Rate $18-25/hour depending on experience and location

  • Must maintain confidentiality of unpublished and membership content
